--St. Luke's Rehabilitation Institute is again being recognized for excellence in medical rehabilitation programs and services by The Joint Commission and Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) International with three -year re-accreditations.
"Re-accreditations compare St. Luke's to rehabilitation hospitals and programs across the country and confirm our teams' commitment to quality patient outcomes," said Nancy Webster, hospital administrator for St. Luke's. "St. Luke's is recognized for developing and implementing approaches that improve care for our patients, and these accreditations exemplify the skills and hard work of our employees."
One CARF surveyor complimented St. Luke's and the services it provides the region. "St. Luke's has a dedicated, knowledgeable and skilled team for the clinical and management oversight of the comprehensive integrated inpatient rehabilitation program, brain injury specialty program, spinal cord system of care, stroke specialty program, interdisciplinary pain rehabilitation program and occupational rehabilitation - comprehensive services programs. The mutual support between the organization and its community is clearly evident."
