SPOKANE, WA--- Team St. Luke’s athletes Kristen Messer, Austin Pruitt, Susannah Scaroni and Amberlynn Weber were named to the 2012 United States Paralympics Track and Field Team and will represent the United States at the 2012 Paralympic Games in London, pending approval from the United States Olympic Committee (USOC). Team St. Luke’s athlete Chelsea McClammer was selected as a team alternate.
The Team St. Luke’s athletes will compete in the following events:
• Kristen Messer – 100m, 200m
• Austin Pruitt – 100m, 200m
• Susannah Scaroni – Marathon
• Amberlynn Weber – 100m, 400m and 800m
Team St. Luke’s Paralympic Coordinator Teresa Skinner has been selected as a member of the U.S. Paralympic coaching team and will join the athletes in the games. The 2012 U.S. Paralympic Games will be the biggest Paralympic Games ever featuring 4,200 athletes from 160 countries. They will be held in London on August 29 – September 9.

Team St. Luke’s is an adaptive sports and recreation program for youth and adults with physical disabilities.
