Participants can be between 2 years old and 102.
No. Any person with a permanent physical disability is eligible to play adapted sports. For the wheelchair sports of basketball and racing, you must be able to propel a manual chair. We also offer stand-up divisions in track and field, archery, and powerlifting for athletes with cerebral palsy, amputations or vision impairments.
No. Team St. Luke’s has extra sports chairs that can be utilized if needed.
We have many options for participants who live outside of the Spokane area.
Team St. Luke's is a group of people of all ages that want to exercise or compete in athletic events. Any age is welcome, as are any disabilities. Athletes have had many disabilities including:
- Spinal Cord Injury
- Traumatic Brain Injury
- Cerebrovascular Disabilities
- Spina Bifida
- Transverse Myelitis
- Osteogenesis Imperfecta
- Cerebral Palsy
- Vision Impairments
