Volunteers are a vital part of St. Luke's mission to provide quality rehabilitative care to our region. We have opportunities for community members of every age and background to volunteer, based on their unique talents and time availability.
St. Luke’s Rehabilitation Institute has openings for daily and weekly volunteers that provide mail delivery, front desk reception, office support and other tasks for the hospital. There are also junior volunteer opportunities for youth ages 15 and older. We will make every effort to match your talents and interests with an available volunteer position.
Please consider sharing your time and talent. To find out more, please contact volunteer coordinator Mary Hollingsworth at (509) 473-6749 or download the volunteer application here.
- Junior Volunteer (ages 16-18) – This program serves as both an introduction to the health care field and as a place to perform a valuable community service.
- Job Shadow (ages 16 to adult) – By observing a caregiver in their specific occupation for a short duration of time, participants in this program gain valuable insight into the medical field.
- College Volunteers - This program is designed for college students who need to complete service hours or are contemplating a career in health care.
- Adult Volunteers – This is the heart of our volunteer organization. As an adult volunteer, you are a valued member of our health care team and have the opportunity to benefit personally through the satisfaction of helping others.
