Backpack for Safety

Backpack for Safety
August 4, 2009
Spokane, WA

With the beginning of school rapidly approaching, parents are scrambling to get their children equipped with the proper school supplies. The backpack, which comes in all sizes, colors, fabrics and shapes, is an especially useful supply when used properly. St. Luke’s Rehabilitation Institute is aware of the back problems caused by improper backpack usage. In preparation of these back-to-school events, St. Luke’s Rehabilitation Institute will be highlighting the importance of backpack safety.

Liz Bratcher and Darren Sandquist, physical therapists at St. Luke’s, will be increasing awareness of backpack safety with tips on purchasing the right backpack and proper usage. For tips on backpack safety, download the information sheet.
