Red Lion Hotels Corporation Supports St. Luke’s Community

Library Module to Benefit Patients in Innovative Therapy Setting

Red Lion Hotels Corporation announced its support of the library therapy module within St. Luke’s Community project at St. Luke’s Rehabilitation Institute.

With the help of St. Luke’s therapists, patients in the library area will safely learn proper techniques to regain important life skills such as transferring to and from a chair and selecting and lifting books to read.

“Red Lion Hotels Corporation contribution to the library therapy module at St. Luke’s Community will help patients regain confidence in everyday life settings,” said St. Luke’s Administrator Chuck Gersdorf.

St. Luke’s Community, a 2,200sq ft innovative therapy area, will provide modules of real-life community settings including a grocery store, restaurant, bus stop, bank and ATM, movie rental and vehicles with the goal of helping patients get back to living.
