Long-time practicing physician Vivian Moise, MD has joined St. Luke’s Rehabilitation Institute’s Physiatry Practice.
“We’re pleased to welcome Dr. Moise to our practice of physicians specializing in medical rehabilitation,” said Dr. Stefan Humphries, St. Luke’s medical director. “Her dedication to providing the highest quality of care compliments our team’s commitment to patients.”
Specializing in the treatment of patients with spinal cord injuries, neuromuscular diseases and musculoskeletal injuries, Dr. Moise completed her Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Residency at the University of California Davis Medical Center, where she later served as Chief Resident. Board-certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as well as in the sub-specialty of Spinal Cord Injury Medicine, Dr. Moise currently serves as medical adviser / director of the spinal cord injury program at St. Luke’s.
“The most rewarding part of my job is when a person with a devastating injury becomes self sufficient and rediscovers joy in their life,” said Dr. Moise. “That is the best feeling of all.”
Dr. Moise previously practiced and owned her own business, Rehabilitation Medicine Spokane. She will continue to serve patients at her current facility located at 511 S. Pine Street, Suite D, just one block northwest of St. Luke’s main campus.
