Building a Thriving Community, Together
As an active member of the Spokane community, St. Luke’s is committed to addressing and solving the problems that impact our patients and local populations. In compliance with the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, we’ve gathered feedback from the community to generate insight into the needs of our patient populations, both before and after they come to St. Luke’s.
St. Luke’s 2018 focus groups connected with key community stakeholders to identify their often unvoiced needs. We gain the fullest picture by drawing on thoughts from:
- Community partners
- Patients, caregivers and family members
- Support groups
- Community programs and services
The Future of Community Health
We’ve taken the feedback provided by our Spokane County community members and identified key concerns for community health. Based on this input, we created a blueprint for moving toward a stronger, healthier community for all, especially for vulnerable disabled and socioeconomically-challenged populations. Our Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) informs our programs and services for today and tomorrow.
